July 2019 direction Ljubljana. One way or the other, the only option to go on the highway. Lots of space for car to pull by with cars from different countries (car plats), but not much traffic on a weekday afternoon. Waited around 20-30 minutes until a truck driver took me to the gas station right before Zagreb.―Anonymous

Difficult road for hitchiking (no place for parking a car, many cars and trucks driving very fast...) but staying near the border is a good idea ! The next village, Okucani, is quite far by feet but I you(ve got the time (and the energy^^) to go there, it shoud be easier to catch a car... Good luck Comrads ! :)―Gwen Gwen

Seems to be a current place for local hitchhikers, but I advise to ask people for choosing the best place and the best road to go to Banja Luka... Easy to be lost and to take the wrong way ;) have a good trip and keep smiling comrads !―Gwen Gwen

July 2019, direction Zagreb. There's was a small space not far from the border for cars to pull, but I would recommend walking to here from the border. Arrived here on a weekday afternoon, waited 1 hour not far from the border then walked to here.Quite some space for car to pull here at this exact spot, waited around 45 mins until a ride take me to the highway toll.

don't be fool by the road sign pointing to Osijek. Most transports go to near by blocks not even as far to Pozega. If you wanna go north, go for D51―Anonymous

A lot of people going to Slavonski Brod. You can just ask them to drop uyou at gradiska border crossing or ho to slavonski brod, which is the easiest way to get to sarajevo―Anonymous
